He made the remarks on the sidelines of the 11th International Conference of Eurasia Railways Cooperation Organization.
Ashuri told reporters that fertilizers' transit from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, sulfur from Turkmenistan and fuel from Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan has increased this year.
Within the period, transit of wooden products from Azerbaijan Republic and Turkey gained noticeable growth and transit of minerals through railways increased as well.
He added that export of minerals and cements through railway network showed 11 percent increase in the first six months of the year.
Given increase in transporting cereals from Imam Port and Khorramshahr, it is expected that shuttling materials by railway network to increase noticeably this year.

Tehran, Oct 2, IRNA – Deputy Managing Director of Iran's Railway Company Hossein Ashuri said on Tuesday that volume of goods' transit by railway network has increased by 50 percent in the first six months of the year (beginning March 21) in comparison with the same period of the preceding year.
